Thank you Jake for the comment! I have been meaning to explore and spend more time with different ways of preparing and enjoying tea rather than always making a huge pot. I have a lot of different tea ware, so I need to use them instead of pulling out the standard teapot.

I will also have to keep my eyes out for a tea warmer that uses a candle. I can only imagine how beautiful that would be!

I must say that I prefer the practical approach of Chinese tea culture of having a small pot and refilling it regularly. This way the tea doesn't steep too long and I can avoid bitterness.

Another personal favorite is a tea pot tray with a place for a candle that keeps the tray hot and therefore the teapot too. Some of them are also really beautiful and can contribute a lot to the atmosphere of your afternoon tea.
